Member of Laboratory for Advanced Nanomaterials and Sustainable Energy Technologies (Lab ANSET)

Dr. Nguyen Huu Tam

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Nguyen Huu Tam is a materials scientist at the Laboratory for Advanced Nanomaterials and Sustainable Energy Technologies (Lab ANSET), Van Lang University, Vietnam. He obtained his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Materials Technology from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) and earned his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry at Kanagawa University, Japan, under the supervision of Prof. Tsutomu Yokozawa. He was also a visiting research fellow at Kanagawa University, supported by the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship. His research focuses on the design, synthesis, and application of conjugated polymers for organic electronics, chemical sensing, sustainable energy conversion, and energy storage systems. He has published over 24 peer-reviewed papers and played a key role in several national and state-funded projects supported by NAFOSTED and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) – Ho Chi Minh City. He is a recipient of the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship (2019) and the Odon Vallet Scholarship (2018, 2019), recognizing his outstanding research achievements. His current work aims to advance next-generation functional polymeric materials for sustainable energy and high-performance sensing technologies.
