Thien-An Nguyen-Huynh received her Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, in 2026. Her research focuses on computational mechanics, the finite element method (FEM), composite materials, structural optimization, and machine learning applications in structural engineering. Her recent work includes multiscale modeling of polymer nanocomposites, advanced shell finite elements for composite structures, and surrogate-assisted structural optimization. She has contributed to several research projects and scientific publications and was awarded the Third Prize in the 2022 Science and Technology Award for Students by the VIFOTEC Fund. She is committed to developing advanced computational methods for solving complex engineering problems.
