Dr. Tuan Nguyen-Sy serves as the head of Laboratory for Computational Mechanics (Lab CME) at COSARI, Van Lang University. He earned his PhD in 2010 from the University Paris-Est, specializing in computational mechanics. With over a decade of experience in the energy industry, Dr. Nguyen-Sy has applied his extensive background in engineering, mechanics, and physics to address critical challenges. In recent years, his research has pivoted towards machine learning, exploring its potential in addressing real-world issues such as predictive modeling, computer vision, and large language models. Passionate about harnessing cutting-edge AI techniques, Dr. Nguyen-Sy is dedicated to advancing sustainability goals. He regularly organizes workshops on machine learning applications and, through his work, aims to educate the next generation of scientists. His goal is to equip them with the skills necessary to contribute to solving global issues related to environmental and energy security.
