9. SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Nguyen Thi Thu Ha is a Research Assistant at COSARI, Van Lang University, and a member of the Laboratory of Environmental Sciences and Climate Change (Lab ESCC). She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geography (2007–2011) and her Master’s degree in Management of Environment and Natural Resources (2012–2015) at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University HCM. Subsequently, she earned a PhD in Hydrological and Oceanic Sciences (2019–2023) from National Central University, Taiwan.
Her earlier professional experience includes roles as staff at The Institute for Computational Science and Technology (HCMC) (2011–2016) and as a researcher at the Centre for Water Management & Climate Change, VNUHCM (2017–2018). Her research focuses on hydrology, hydraulic modelling, climate change impacts, and the application of AI in water resources. Through her work, she contributes to interdisciplinary efforts that combine environmental science with computational and AI-driven methods, aimed at advancing climate-resilient water management in Vietnam and the region.
